Westfield San Francisco Centre, the city’s premier destination for world-class fashion, entertainment, and dining, added another celebrated chef to its roster with the opening of La Boulange du Dome by French master baker Pascal Rigo on June 25, 2012. Rigo brings San Francisco’s favorite neighborhood bakery to the Restaurant Collection Under the Dome, which features an all-star team of chefs including Chris Yeo of Straits, Ismael Macias of LarkCreekSteak and Christian Hermsdorf of Cupola Pizzeria. Chef and legendary TV personality Martin Yan will join this acclaimed group of culinary giants when M.Y. China by Martin Yan opens in September 2012.
At the Restaurant Collection Under the Dome, Westfield San Francisco Centre has assembled a first-class epicurean experience under one roof, offering full-service award-winning cuisine for lunch, brunch, dinner and everything in between. Located on Level 4 surrounding the Centre’s iconic 102-foot wide glass dome, The Restaurant Collection Under the Dome revives a tradition of meeting “under the dome” for generations of San Franciscans.
La Boulange du Dome
Hailing from Bordeaux, France, Rigo brings a taste of his native country to Westfield San Francisco Centre with La Boulange du Dome. His life-long passion for baking and French cuisine informs his exquisite menu of traditional pastries, homemade breads, mini tea sandwiches, desserts, salads, organic coffee, and local wines. New menu items include ice cream stuffed profiteroles, macaroon cookie ice cream sandwiches, cream filled dame blanche pastries, chouquettes and cannelé de bordeaux baked fresh throughout the day. As a tribute to the Westfield San Francisco Centre dome’s storied history, La Boulange du Dome has created a signature Le Dome dessert — a chocolate and vanilla crème sandwiched between two almond meringues, covered in crème and white and dark chocolate shavings.
La Boulange du Dome revives the spirit of dining under the dome popular throughout the location’s storied history. Offering a traditional French café experience, La Boulange du Dome serves as an architecturally evocative and peaceful retreat for guests to sip a coffee while shopping, enjoy a glass of wine after a treatment at Burke Williams Day Spa or savor a bite before a film at Century Theatres.
Cupola Pizzeria
Chef Christian Hermsdorf celebrates the flavors of Italy at Cupola Pizzeria, which offers authentic, delicious Neapolitan-style pizza in addition to panini, housemade pastas, salads and desserts. All pizzas are cooked in a handcrafted Stefano Ferrara pizza oven imported from Naples, Italy. Cupola, which means “dome” in Italian, features stylish modern decor including a red lacquer communal table modeled after a fashion runway.
LarkCreekSteak
Chef Ismael Macias serves up timeless steakhouse classics blended seamlessly with fresh iterations of old favorites and artisanally-grown, farm fresh fare at LarkCreekSteak. A stylish, yet comfortable contemporary steak, chop and seafood house, LarkCreekSteak features an intimate 68-seat dining room, 21-seat bar and lounge and 36-seat private dining space, the Larkspur Room.  In addition, culinary travelers can view the open kitchen up close at the 10-seat exhibition kitchen counter space.
Straits
At Straits, Chef Chris Yeo has realized his dream of bringing the cuisine of Singapore to the Bay Area. For almost 200 years, Singapore has been at the crossroads of Southeast Asia, where many different cultures and nationalities thrive. The cuisine at Straits reflects this cultural diversity. Malyasian/Indonesian, Indian, Chinese and Nonya are artistically blended to create a new culinary offering that is more complex in fragrances and flavors. Dishes from all regions are served family style so that guests can easily share this unique experience.
M.Y. China by Martin Yan
Legendary chef and educator Martin Yan will bring authentic modern Chinese cuisine to life through a fun exhibition dining experience at M.Y. China by Martin Yan, opening in September 2012. Influenced by restaurants in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, M.Y. China by Martin Yan will offer dim sum, hand-pulled la mein noodles, and wok dishes. A unique menu coupled with ample opportunity to learn how each dish is made will translate into both entertainment and an unparalleled opportunity for culinary discovery.

In honor of Westfield San Francisco Centre’s new 3-D light spectacular Corazon Under the Dome, and the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Restaurant Collection Under the Dome has teamed up to create a delightful array of drink specials.
Echoing the orange hue of the city’s hallmark bridge, the Golden Gate specialty cocktail from Cupola Pizzeria features mandarin, tangerine, Sanbitter Italian soda, mint and soda water. LarkCreekSteak’s lead bartender, Aaron “Ace” Chon crafted The International featuring Russell’s Reserve Rye, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, and Peychaud’s Bitters. Drawing inspiration from the California Gold Rush, Straits takes a playful twist on the traditional Moscow Mule, offering the Golden Mule which features Absolut Vodka, Fever Tree Ginger Beer, lime juice and vanilla syrup.
