Angela Sticca Snyder is the “taxanista,” Renee Preis is the “overwhelm coach” and Bogi Lateiner fixes cars.

They are all, in their words, entreprenesses – female entrepreneurs featured in the newly launched publication Crave Phoenix. Think girly, pink-tutu and-green-toenail-polish-wearing, successful businesswomen.

“It’s all about girl power,” Crave Phoenix city leader Shawna Blankenhorn said. “Crave is essentially everything you crave in your city, women-owned. You crave boutiques, you crave restaurants, candy stores, spas.”

The bright green-and-pink guide features more than 125 women entrepreneurs in the Valley and their businesses, with discounts offered at the back. Every woman answered 10 questions, and their responses turned into two-page spreads complete with colorful photography.

Blankenhorn describes it as a Yellow Pages of sorts for women, with more of a personal touch.

“Not only are we supporting local businesses, we take it one step further and we are supporting local women-owned businesses,” she said.
