Denver, CO – Denver International Airport quietly launched a new concession retailing program Wednesday with the opening of 29 kiosks and other small “merchandising units” selling jewelry, hats, candy, electronic goods and more on the airport’s concourses.

Late last year, DIA and Denver officials selected California-based Provenzano Resources Inc. to manage a program to promote more concession opportunities for merchants and consumers at DIA through the installation of kiosks and other small retail venues.

PRI, as the company is known, said it soon will have 38 of the small retail units operating at the airport, and they are expected to generate about $13 million in additional gross concession revenue in the program’s first year.
