She was at the forefront of integrating common area (central and pedestrian walkway areas) merchandising programs into the urban and suburban marketplace, which are now found in shopping centers worldwide.

Ms. Weir was the Vice President and Director of Specialty Retail and Marketing at the Rouse Company, an organization which owned, managed and operated over 50 shopping and community centers. She has 25 years’ experience in real estate leasing, negotiating marketing contracts with national retailers, sponsors, vendors and entrepreneurs. Her major responsibility was to increase revenue and sales in each of the company’s shopping centers and direct strategy and execution of multi-million dollar advertising, sales promotion and public relations campaigns.

Ms. Weir now consults with a range of clients on strategic visioning; marketing plan development; new business channel identification; and sponsorship marketing, leadership and organizational development.
