Doc Popcorn Moves Bulk of Operations to Denver from Boulder

Denver, CO – Four months since Dippin’ Dots Franchising LLC acquired Boulder’s Doc Popcorn, the bulk of the kettle-cooked popcorn retailer’s local operations have relocated to Denver, officials confirmed Thursday. Doc Popcorn has 18 employees in Colorado, including its Denver warehouse and flagship kiosk location at FlatIron Crossing mall in Broomfield, officials said. “Due to the brand’s growth both domestically and internationally, Doc Popcorn has moved to a large warehouse space in Denver,” officials said in an e-mail statement to the Daily Camera. “Most of Doc Popcorn’s staff is still on board post-transition and the brand maintains a strong presence in Colorado.”
