In London, Westfield has created two destination shopping centers—Westfield London and Westfield Stratford—that are both architecturally stunning and merchandised with some of the best international brands. Here is a sampling of four highly productive kiosk retailers with innovative designs.

Cutting-edge Style

Doc Barnet Barbershop

Fashioned from mahogany and glass, Doc Barnet Barbershop is Westfield London’s latest common area salon that pays homage to the classic 1950’s Chicago barbershop. The shop offers wet shaves, beard trimming, haircuts and ear piercing. Walk-in service adds convenience for customers.

Nailing Fashion

Models Own

This imaginative nail polish kiosk is packed with “Wow!” power and is a temporary merchant. Customers walk into the “bottle” to shop the kiosk, which sells a variety of on-trend polishes in many colors. The dome-shaped kiosk and self-serve shopping model make for a fun customer experience.

The Perfect Cuppa!

Twining’s Tasting Bar and Tea Shop

Twining’s tea bar in Westfield London is perfect for the British consumer who likes afternoon tea and biscuits. The kiosk sells a wide variety of teas, gifts, and accessories to brew a perfect cup of tea. The kiosk design affords the customer the ability to walk into the shop or enjoy a full-service experience at the tea bar. The kiosk’s low-profile style makes it user-friendly and doesn’t block sightlines.

Cool Idea

Joe Delucci’s Italian Gelato

Joe Delucci’s Italian Gelato, located near the children’s play area, knows how to stop customers in their tracks in the common area. After all, what child would be able to resist enjoying gelato perched on a fun mini motorcycle!  The two-sided kiosk offers fresh fruit gelatos to go or customers can belly up to the ice cream bar on brightly colored motorbikes.

Editor’s Note
Duffy Weir recently visited London to give a presentation on behalf of Specialty Retail Report. While there, she visited two Westfield shopping centers—Westfield London and Westfield Stratford. The pictures are from Westfield London but many of the same successful common area retailers also have locations in Westfield Stratford City.
