The World's Largest Resource for the Cart, Kiosk, and Temporary Retail Industry

Detroit, MI – Mall kiosks are no longer the exclusive territory of small merchants selling pretzels, cellphone accessories and other low-budget items. Metro Detroit shopping centers are attracting companies that market big-ticket items — from home improvement companies to auto dealers.

1-800-Hansons, the Troy-based seller and installer of home windows, roofs and vinyl siding, started its first kiosk in Troy’s Oakland Mall three years ago and now has six around Metro Detroit including at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights and Laurel Park Place in Livonia.

Four more kiosks are scheduled to be opened at other malls in the region later in the year to capitalize on the fact that at least 10 percent of Hanson sales originate from kiosk inquiries, according to the company.
