Deborah Celaya, an accomplished sales and marketing professional with more than 15 years retail marketing experience, has been named Director of Marketing and Business Development at Colorado Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the state. The announcement was made by Kelly Mikesell, Vice President of Marketing for The Mills, a Simon Company.
“We’re excited to have Deborah join Colorado Mills and contribute to the success of our property,” said Mikesell. “Her professional experience and leadership will be a tremendous asset as Colorado Mills maintains its status as the leading outlet and value retail shopping destination in Colorado.”
In her new role, Celaya will be responsible for strategic marketing, business development, public relations, tenant relations, guest services and tourism. She will also play a large role in generating new revenue sponsorships.
Celaya most recently held a senior executive position at Race Partners, LLC and has previously served as Group Vice President for General Growth Properties and a leasing representative at JHerzog & Sons.

Celaya holds memberships in several professional committees including the Marketing Advisory Committee of Visit Denver, as well as the SDMC Chamber, Highlands Ranch Chamber, Castle Rock Chamber and Visit Denver. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
