Napa, CA - Tenants at Napa Town Center — now to be renamed The Shops at Napa Center — reacted favorable to last week’s news that developer Todd Zapolski had purchased the ailing downtown property.

“I’m thrilled,” said Kent Gardella of Napa Valley Jewelers. “If these guys can deliver on what they are talking about, downtown will have enough shops” to thrive, he said.

“These guys will get the shops that will survive,” Gardella said. “I think this is great news for downtown and our whole community.”

“We are happy to have someone in charge who is motivated to make things happen,” said Jay Williamson, owner of Williamson & Company. Williamson said he anticipates that rents at his men’s clothing shop will go up, but “I would love to stay here,” he said. “This is a prime spot.”
