The World's Largest Resource for the Cart, Kiosk, and Temporary Retail Industry
by Press Release

The 2012 Specialty Retail Entrepreneur Expo & Conference (SPREE) is proud to announce an exciting schedule of seminars led by a team of industry veterans. The 8th annual conference will be held April 3-5 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

2012 SPREE will feature more than a dozen seminars and panel discussions on a wide variety of topics ranging from the latest attention-grabbing techniques in visual merchandising to informational sessions on how to import products from overseas. The schedule includes the return of past favorites such as the Retail 101, 102 and 103 series, as well as a host of new cutting-edge topics from industry experts who have their fingers on the pulse of the specialty leasing industry.

Mike Drummond from Inventors Digest magazine will offer insights on how you can transition your great idea from the back of a napkin into today’s marketplace. Drummond supervises content development and marketing at the nation’s longest-running publication for the inventing industry, and he will share his insights in a seminar on “Launching Products”.

Pop-up stores are everywhere these days, and Anita Saleh, Vice President of Specialty Leasing at the Taubman Company, will be on hand to tell us why these “temporary” sensations may be here to stay in a discussion on “Understanding Pop-Up Stores”.

Ellery Plowman, Vice President of Business Development & Leasing at Westfield Concession Management will help attendees look beyond the mall to the many retail opportunities that exist in venues such as airports, train stations and military bases. Plowman will explore the logistics of alternative locations, and how to determine if your concept is right for these “Non-Traditional Retail Channels”.

Tenants can get help “Understanding Your Legal Rights” in a seminar presented by Marc Feldman, Senior Vice President of New Business Development at Developers Diversified Realty. Feldman offers a unique perspective with his years of experience as both a Certified Leasing Specialist and an attorney.

An updated seminar schedule with detailed descriptions and additional information on these and other topics can be found at the SPREE website: http://spreeshow.com/seminars/
