A new clothing store is coming to the Old Capitol Mall.

However, it will be a store familiar to many local residents.

Four Seasons, a Geneseo, Ill.-based women’s apparel store, will open a second Iowa City location in the mall. The store is anticipated to open on May 2. Four Seasons will occupy the space formerly occupied by Express, which left the mall in January.

Katie Andrios, president of GWK Enterprises, which owns Four Seasons, said they are excited about the new location and all the foot traffic the Old Capitol Mall receives each day.

“There are so many people moving through it each day,” she said.

Andrios said the 5,000 square-foot store will employ three people full-time and have 10 to 15 part-time associates. The store will also have a “brand new concept” of focusing on a younger demographic.
