The Specialty Leasing Summit was created in conjunction with SPREE to provide a training program for leasing professionals in the specialty retail field. The program is designed to be an intensive, one-and-a-half-day professional development summit to help those in the specialty leasing field to gain new tenants, retain and grow existing ones, increase revenue and profits and advance their careers.

Bieri, Principal at Stokas Bieri Real Estate. Mr. Bieri has been helping retailers and landlords successfully negotiate to reach their goals since 1973. Much sought-after speaker and retail leasing real estate consultant, Deborah S. Kravitz, President and Principal in Provenzano Resources, Inc, (PRI) will teach Retail Math: Understanding Your Tenant.
The Summit will also feature Arleen Dalton, Vice President of Business Development with General Growth Properties to speak about Cold Calling & Prospecting for Gold. Ms Dalton has been working with specialty and permanent leasing, strategic planning, merchandising and sales training for over 30 years. Mellissa Musico, sponsorship expert and Director of Strategic Partnerships for Developers Diversified Realty will present Maximizing Revenue with Sponsorships & Ancillary Income. And, Deborah Brynes, Consultant with Retail Resource, Inc. will teach leasing professionals about Developing a Sales & Merchandising Plan for the Common Area.
When Melinda Holland, Senior Vice President, Business Development, General Growth Properties heard about the Specialty Leasing Summit she said “I am thrilled that SPREE and Specialty Retail Report are adding an educational component for specialty leasing managers to an already exciting conference program.” The sessions at the Specialty Leasing Summit are ideal for industry veterans as well as those new to leasing management.
