Coconut Creek, FL —The Promenade at Coconut Creek, a 350,000 square-foot lifestyle destination now has five new restaurants, a jewelry boutique, and three service shops. Sun Trust Bank, Boca Tanning Club, Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse are all open for business.
Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory had its grand opening event during the weekend of August 7, 2009. It was a weekend long celebration with face painting, balloonists, DJ and free ice cream for children under the age 12. Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory donated a percentage of its weekend proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse is serving up sushi, hibachi dinners and vegetarian specials. Boca Tanning Club, an upscale 24-hour tanning salon and Sun Trust Bank are also currently offering their services to the residents of the City of Coconut Creek.
J. Douglas Jewelers specializing in custom jewelry, engagement rings and custom stones will open its doors in October 2009. Two of the five eateries will also be open to the public next month. Scarfone’s Coal Fired Pizza will feature its coal-fired crispy pizza with a variety of toppings; and the Crepe Maker will cook up a variety of fast, fresh and healthy crepes.
The Promenade at Coconut Creek has also signed a new lease with Mama Asian Noodle Bar, an Asian restaurant serving a variety of dishes.
CB Richard Ellis, the Promenade’s property management firm has moved into the new office building and Allstate Insurance will join them in November 2009 when they open their new offices at the Promenade at Coconut Creek.
The Promenade at Coconut Creek, a “Live-Work-Play” shopping and lifestyle destination officially opened its doors in November 2008. As a LEED pre-certified development, the Promenade fits perfectly into the City of Coconut Creek, which established itself as an environmentally conscious and progressive city. This sustainable shopping center was developed by Ohio-based Stanbery Development and is the largest mixed-use lifestyle center in Northern Broward County and the first mixed-use project to be located within Coconut Creek’s new downtown district.
