The CEO of ZAGG on Monday reported that his company had a record-breaking year in 2008, including its fast-growing kiosk division that sells protective coverings and accessories for consumer electronics under the brand name invisibleSHIELD.

“We doubled our mall kiosk locations in 2008, which led to our cart sales tripling,” said CEO and President Robert G. Pedersen II. He predicted another great year ahead, saying, “In 2009 we expect to again double our mall kiosk locations from current levels.”

The news was released in an open letter to shareholders and friends of ZAGG.

“I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past 12 outstanding, successful months. From our first days-just a few years ago-ZAGG was founded on principles of working hard for our customers and shareholders, and we are privileged that our company and our industry remain strong in spite of wider economic concerns. For a company that began with a bang, hit the ground running, and has always been on the forefront of a very competitive consumer electronics industry, we have become accustomed to stunning growth and record sales.”

He went on to highlight the company’s accomplishments over the past year.
