Spring 2015 18th Annual Visual Victories Awards

Constant innovation is not easy and yet it’s the very hallmark of the specialty retail industry that continually responds to trends, reacts to customer feedback and then reinvents itself to be exactly what the market requires at that time. This is often accomplished by powerful visual merchandising that draws customers into stores and makes them linger at carts and kiosks. Designing provocative merchandise displays is no simple task and that’s why Specialty Retail Report salutes innovations in the marketplace annually through its Visual Victories Awards. Now in its 18th year, the editors of SRR are continually amazed by the creativity of each and every entry. We recognize every single retailer and visual merchandiser that took the time to enter.

What you’ll see in the following pages are this year’s winners. Collectively, they have stopped customers in their tracks and have spurred sales for their stores, RMUs and kiosks. We salute these outstanding professionals who make the specialty retail industry so vibrant. Learn what’s worked for these retailers and think about how you can implement some of these tactics into your next display. Who knows? Maybe one of your 2015 displays will win a Visual Victories award next year.

The Visual Victories Awards applauds winning efforts in these seven categories:

  • Best Cart Display
  • Best Kiosk Display
  • Best Promotional Display
  • Best Store Design
  • Best Store Signage
  • Best Use of a Prop
  • Most Improved Retail Display

Our panel of judges represents a diverse cross-section of the specialty leasing industry. We thank them for their valuable contributions in helping make the contest a success.
